Street Theatre: San Francisco By Travis Jensen
07.09.2025

Spanning nearly two decades, Street Theatre: San Francisco is a raw and immersive collection of photographs by Travis Jensen, captured primarily between 2009 and 2015. Rather than focusing on a single neighborhood, Jensen went all city, documenting San Francisco’s seven by seven with an unfiltered, observational eye. The result is a body of work that stands entirely on its own. He claims no authorship, only that the lens moved freely, like a Ouija board planchette, drawn by the city's history, its rhythm, the restless energy of its streets, and above all, its people. It is the product of thousands of hours spent wandering on foot, letting the city speak. Street Theatre is a love letter to San Francisco, capturing the city not as it appears in postcards but as it truly lives and breathes.

This 222 page hardcover edition is limited to 250 copies and proudly made in the USA from start to finish. It features a foreword by the late great San Francisco photographer Fred Lyon.

The book will be available in store at the release party on Saturday, then available in our online store beginning Sunday, July 13th at 7:00 AM.
